Die Energie-Etikette informiert über den Treibstoffverbrauch in Liter/100 km (bei Verbrenner-Fahrzeugen den CO2-Ausstoss in g/km, bei Gasfahrzeugen im m3 CNG) und die Energieeffizienz bezogen auf das Fahrzeug-Leergewicht. Die Energie-Etikette muss am Personenwagen oder in seiner Nähe gut sichtbar angebracht werden.
