Which means of transport?
On the basis of a Mobility Hub and a Mobility Matrix, the best and the fastest mode of transport for any journey can be read out quickly and conveniently. Cars, buses and bicycles are compared. The Mobility Hub indicates the best way to travel to Baden from one of the regional municipalities. A pratical additional benefit is provided on the rear of the hub, in the form of a parking disk. The Mobility Matrix goes a step further. All the times and costs for travelling from one municipality to another within the Baden region can be read off from the matrix.
With this unique instrument, badenmobil wants to encourage the local population to increasingly consider the issue of their own mobility. What is right for travelling to work is not necessarily also right for leisure travel. because someone who is accustomed to drive to work will probably also use the car for a similar trip in his/her leisure time. And it is exactly here that public transport or even the bicycle could represent a welcome and exciting change. Road users should increasingly think about alternatives, and act correspondingly.
The Mobility Hub and the Matrix are available from the Mobility Center, as well as from the administation offices of the 19 participating municipalities.
The prices for public transport are calculated at the normal tariff in the calculation matrix.
